It is endemic to Nye County in southwestern Nevada and Inyo County, in eastern California. ==Distribution== ''Nitrophila mohavensis'' is endemic to the Amargosa Desert, straddling the border of California and Nevada east of Death Valley and near Death Valley National Park.
